A. The Basics
Founded and managed by HR executives, the Network is a two-way communications system in which members exchange information about opportunities in the “hidden” job market, in the belief that they can help themselves by assisting each other.
At least twice monthly, members receive by email the HR Network Report, an informal newsletter with new leads to jobs:
1) that are not advertised, either in newspapers or on the Internet, and
2) that pay not less than $150,000 per year in direct (i.e., cash) compensation.
Network Reports are copyright protected and are for members’ eyes only; they are not to be shared, with anyone!
(The service is not “online”— members are sent reports by e-mail; they do not retrieve them.) B. Lead Sharing
Members are required—as a condition of participation—to make meaningful inputs to the Network’s job lead databank. Lead sharing is the fundamental feature driving the system; participants unwilling or unable, over time, to develop and share leads that are fresh, accurate and complete—and of general interest to others— forfeit their eligibility to participate.
Members are required to share everything they develop as described in A. 1) and 2) above. That includes jobs they have an interest in themselves, but only if a search firm or consultant is involved. |
Where no third
party (search firm or other “broker”) is involved, and thus an employer and Network
member have connected with each other directly, the lead may be withheld until
the member’s interest or candidacy is disposed of, should that occur.
